Support Ambulance Victoria

Every year, Ambulance Victoria (AV) provides world-leading pre-hospital healthcare to more than one million Victorians.

Our work is made possible through the generous support of hundreds of donors who ensure our paramedics have access to cutting-edge equipment, advanced clinical training and can lead ground-breaking research and clinical trials.

Our Impact of Giving Report showcases how your generosity is making a difference – and impacting the lives of so many here in Victoria and around the world.

Whether you donate, volunteer, or leave a gift in your Will, your support helps paramedics and first responders deliver the best care to people across Victoria.

Where your support goes

Government funding enables us to deliver our core ambulance services across Victoria, but community donations go above and beyond, helping us invest in additional equipment, specialist training, and lifesaving innovations that wouldn’t be possible otherwise.

Your contribution helps us:

  • Equip paramedics with advanced medical tools.
  • Provide extra training for emergency responders.
  • Fund research to improve patient outcomes.
  • Run community education programs that teach life-saving skills.

Your impact

Every donation and gift in Will tells a story of lives saved, families reunited, and communities strengthened.

Because of donor support, we’ve been able to get our extracorporeal membrane oxygenation ECMO response car out four days a week instead of two. That means more people get life-saving care before they even reach hospital. It’s incredible and it’s saving lives. We couldn’t do it without you.
